Tansy Lane Herb Farm 4 th Annual Summer Festival

  • Join us in a Walk and Talk in the herb gardens and take part in qigong under the 140 year old maple trees.
     
  • Make your own tinctures with Naturopath Blossom Bitting
     
  • Hop on a horse drawn wagon for a leisurely trip to visit the neighbour’s alpacas.
     
  • Join Virginia on the Fern and Moose Track Walk in the woods.
     
  • Have a little massage before or after a vegetarian lunch in the gardens or on the verandah.
     
  • Join in some qigong or taekwondo
     
Meet Shivaraj Ishaya who will introduce a new water technologythat turns regular tap water into a super anti-oxidant rich, micro-clustered and highly alkaline, living health drink.  and much more…

Entrance fee $5 covers all activities except the lunch.

                             

FULL SCHEDULE:

Lunch on the verandah or in the gardens  from 11 to 2


11:30 -  Carole Coleman (owner, Tansy Lane) will give a guided tour of the gardens.

12:15 - Blossom Bitting (Naturopathic Doctor)  will assist participants in making their own herbal tinctures to take home.

1:00 -  Michelle Poirier (assistant to Lila Donovan, Energy Practitioner) will demonstrate and lead us in qigong. Following the qigong demonstration Caleb Layton, (black belt, first dan) will demonstrate taekwondo.

1:45 – Virginia Olsen –  (Environmentalist, Nova Scotia Dept. of Environment) is going to lead a Fern and Moose Walk – follow the trail of a moose through a path of ferns in our forest. Bring a book to press if you wish to collect some ferns on the walk.

2:15 -  Shivaraj Ishaya (The Oneness Centre) will be introducing a new water technology that turns regular tap water into a super anti-oxidant rich, micro-clustered and highly alkaline, living health drink.

3:00 – Blossom Bitting will repeat the 12:15 session


ONGOING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON:

 
  • Mathias Mann will be giving short massages under  the 140 year old  maple trees in front of the house.
     
  • Craig Jones will be giving horse-drawn wagon rides to visit our neighbour’s animals. Included is a baby alpaca born just last week.
     
  • Special guests Jim Blewett and David LeBlanc will provide musical entertainment throughout the afternoon.
